The Financial Faith Fight
The Financial Faith Fight deals with how the devil will fight you in the area of giving. His goal is to keep you from reaping the benefits that come along with the covenant that the Lord Jesus has provided us. The goal of these next four lessons is to remind and refresh you of your covenant benefits as it relates to your financial future. There are four particular items that I want to discuss with you.
Sowing – Giving
Stewardship – How you handle what God allows you to bring in
Savings – This is in regards to your savings or storehouse account
Spirituality – The spirituality of giving requires faith, patience, and obedience in order to reap results.
The biblical explanation of giving is most interesting.
Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
The Greek word for give is ‘didomi’. It means to freely release from the hand; to give over; and entrust without any expectation of return.
